SANAA, Dec. 22 (YPA) – The Sanaa-based Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the government, Jamal Ahmed Amer, met on Sunday with the Country Director of the International Organization of ZOA, Bereket Godifay Kahsay.
During the meeting, the minister discussed with Kahsay the ZOA’s activities for the year 2024 and its work plan for the year 2025, especially in the field of water and environmental health.
Amer called on the ZOA to intensify its efforts in searching for new sources of funding for humanitarian and development projects, away from conditional funding used as a pressure tool.
In turn, the ZOA director explained that the organization would seek to ensure that its implemented projects be sustainable to benefit a Yemeni citizen, stressing that there would be serious consultations with new donors.
