SANAA, Oct. 27 (YPA) – Member of Ansarullah Political Bureau, Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, commented on Saudi Arabia’s demand that Iran conduct joint military maneuvers in the Red Sea.
Al-Bukhaiti said in a post on X that the “Saudi request aims to legitimize its future war against the Axis of Resistance under the title of neutrality.”
“Waging war under a neutral title is not possible, rationally or realistically,” he added. “The problem is that Bin Salman confuses real war with a video game war that is free of losses and separates him from reality.”
In the same context, Al-Bukhaiti’s remarks during previous comments on foreign reports that talked about the joint maneuvers that Saudi Arabia invited Iran to conduct in the Red Sea, indicated Yemen’s rejection of that step.
Observers commented on the Saudi request as a development that contradicts the tense relations between Tehran and Riyadh, noting that Bin Salman’s movement on the Iranian file in the Red Sea came with America’s failure to contain the Yemeni military operations against the Israeli occupation entity in the Red Sea.
