HADRAMOUT, Oct. 08 (YPA) – The Hadramout Tribes Alliance issued a strong statement warning all parties against infringing on Hadramout’s crude oil resources, announcing a state of readiness at all checkpoints and camps.
The statement came in response to the deliberate delaying by relevant authorities regarding Hadramout’s demands made at the end of July.
The alliance emphasizes its rejection of any attempts to export crude oil without fulfilling these demands, asserting that its members are prepared to thwart any breaches of these commitments.
The statement issued a clear warning to PetroMasila against supplying tankers with crude oil from the Al-Dabba facilities, which are under the control of Emirati factions in the Arabian Sea.
It pointed out that the export of crude oil from the facilities will lead to repercussions against PetroMasila, which is held fully responsible.
The alliance is expected to establish new armed checkpoints toward the coastal districts of Hadramout to prevent the smuggling and transportation of crude oil for the benefit of influential figures in the coalition-backed government and the Presidential Leadership Council.
