HODAIDA, Feb. 8 (YPA) – A least 30 thousand families were displaced from Khokha and Hais districts of Yemen’s province of Hodaida due to Saudi-led coalition’s military escalation, Hodaida Governor Hassan Haij said on Wednesday in a statement to Yemen Press Agency.

The province’s leadership is currently working hard to provide the urgent assistance to the displaced, but the trucks of humanitarian aid are frequently hit by the coalition’s aircrafts before reaching the displaced persons, Hassan said.

The Red Sea port city of Hodaida daily receives waves of the displaced from Hais and Khokha districts, where the Saudi-led coalition began its military escalation in an attempt to control the city.
