Hamas: ‘Preventing humanitarian aid from entering Gaza is Zionist crime’

GAZA, July 09 (YPA) – Hamas movement said that the Israeli occupation’s prevention of humanitarian aid from entering the Gaza Strip is a Zionist crime that complements genocidal war.

Hamas confirmed in a statement on Tuesday that the terrorist occupation government is continuing its war of starvation and imposing a total siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, preventing the entry of food aid trucks for the sixty-fourth straight day.

The statement stressed that the behavior of the enemy government and herds of settlers is considered a practice of the ugliest forms of starvation war against defenseless civilians, who have been facing an inclusive genocidal war.

It affirmed that the humanitarian catastrophe and the famine that is expanding and intensifying, especially in Gaza city and northern provinces, is the result of a continuing criminal Zionist decision, supported by the complicit American administration, to deny the means of life to citizens in the Gaza Strip, despite UN resolutions and the orders of the International Court of Justice, which stressed to bring the necessary aid into all areas of the Strip.

The statement added that the continuation of the starvation war will threaten a humanitarian catastrophe and the death of more children and innocent civilians.

Hamas’ statement called on the international community to take immediate action to force the occupation to bring in aid and relief without hindrance, deter this criminal enemy, and hold them accountable for their brutal crimes in Gaza.
