Death toll from Israeli aggression in Gaza Strip rises to 33,970 people

GAZA, April 18 (YPA) – The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip published on Thursday the daily statistical report on the number of dead and wounded as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip for the 195th day.

The ministry said in its report, “The death toll of the Israeli aggression has risen to 33,970 martyrs and 76,770 injuries since October 7, 2023.”

The report stated that “The Israeli occupation committed 7 massacres against families in Gaza, including 71 martyrs and 106 injuries during the past 24 hours.”

The ministry pointed out that “a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.”

Earlier today, the Ministry of Health in Gaza called for the provision of field hospitals and international multi-specialized medical teams for the Gaza and North Gaza regions.
