Al-Qassam Brigades launch large barrage of rockets targeting 19 Zionist settlements

GAZA, Jan. 17 (YPA) – Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, said on Tuesday that their fighters launched a large barrage of rockets towards “Netivot” and its surrounding settlements.

Israeli Channel 11 reported that around 50 rockets were fired in the recent batch that targeted Netivot and surrounding areas. This was confirmed by the Netivot municipality.

The Israeli newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth” mentioned that a store in Netivot was directly hit without causing any human casualties.

According to media sources, missiles also landed in the areas of Netivot and Sdot Negev in the recent batch aimed at the western Negev.

Zionist media reported that this rocket barrage was launched from the northern Gaza Strip on Tuesday morning, targeting nearly 19 settlements in the Gaza envelope and the western Negev.

The Israeli army radio stated that the rocket launch on Netivot originated from the area where the Israeli army withdrew from on Monday.
