SHABWA, Nov. 23 (YPA) – Foreign forces have established a new military base inside the Balhaf liquid gas export facility in the oil-rich Shabwa province, located on the Arabian Sea in eastern Yemen.
Aerial satellite photos published by one of those interested of Yemeni affairs on the “X” platform during the past hours showed a military base under construction inside the Balhaf facility in the coastal district of Radhom, which the UAE and US forces took as a military base a year after declaring war on Yemen in March 2015.
The pictures showed that the military base is still under construction and contains 100 buildings, and its construction dates back to last July.
The photos also showed the presence of a helicopter on the other side of the base and several vehicles. The comments accompanying the pictures drew attention to the establishment of fortifications and ground shelters under the mountain located in the area, without specifying the identity of the forces establishing the base.
