28 Saudi-backed militiamen killed, 10 vehicles destroyed in Western coast
HIDEIDAH, July 6 (YPA) – At least 28 of Saudi-backed militiamen were killed and 21 injured on Friday during clashes with the Yemen army In the outskirts of Tuhaita district of Yemen’s western coast, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The fighting caused the deaths and injuries of dozens of the militiamen, and three vehicles belonging to the coalition, loaded with dead and wounded, arrived to Khokha district, backed by Apache air cover.
The official confirmed that the Yemeni army destroyed 10 military vehicles, including four armored vehicles, during repulsing of two attacks in the north Tuhaita, which lasted more than 12 hours
Coalition forces did not achieve any progress and their lines of supply are still cut off, the official said.
