Tsahih Party head meets head of European Union mission to Yemen

SANAA, July 6 (YPA) – The leadership of Tsahih Party, headed by Mujahid al-Quhali, on Friday met Head of the European Union Mission in Yemen, Antonia Calvo–Puerta.

During the meeting, the officials discussed the worsening humanitarian situation in Yemen as a result of the continued Saudi-led coalition aggression and siege and its targeting of all elements of life in Yemen.

Al-Quhali hailed the efforts of the head of the European Union mission and the its keenness to find a just solution in Yemen.

Al-Quhali called the European Union to pressure for stopping the aggression and crimes committed more than three years against civilians and the use of prohibited weapons without any justification but to impose trusteeship and hegemony on the Yemeni people and plundering its wealth.

For her part, the head of the European Union mission thanked the leaders of the Tsahih Party, stressing that the European Union is deeply interested to find a comprehensive political solution in Yemen in order to achieve lasting peace and reconstruction.
