FM Under-Secretary meets UN envoy to Yemen

SANAA, July 3 (YPA) – The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Nabil Ahmad Al-Ghauli, on Tuesday met with the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen Martin Griffith.

The meeting touched on the last efforts of UN envoy towards the peace process and the resumption of negotiations to bring peace and stop the coalition war on Yemen.

Al-Ghauli confirmed the support of the Government of National Salvation efforts to the UN envoy for achieving a just and honorable peace for the Yemeni people.

Griffith hailed the government’s cooperation with the peace process, which will lead to a halt to the conflict which afflicts the Yemeni people and exacerbates the humanitarian crisis.
