Study: More than 40% of Americans are confident that China is preparing for war with their country

WORLD, Feb. 28 (YPA) – A social study conducted by McLaughlin & Associates confirmed that more than 40% of Americans are confident that China is preparing for war with the United States.

According to figures published in the study, 42% of those answered yes to a question whether they believe China is preparing for war with the United States.

At the same time, 62% of Americans support a ban in the US on the social network TikTok, because “the Chinese Communist Party uses it to spy on Americans and steal their personal information.” But about a quarter of respondents (24%) oppose banning the social media site.

The poll also showed that more than half of Americans oppose “China giving millions of dollars” to US colleges and universities, as well as to US media and news companies.

The study was conducted Feb. 17-23 and involved 1,000 American adults.
