HODEIDA, MARIB, Feb. 20 (YPA) – At least two civilians were killed and two others injured on Monday as a result of the explosion of Saudi-led coalition weapons remnants in separate areas of Hodeida province, the Executive Center for Mine Action said.
On Sunday, a civilian was killed as a result of the explosion of a remnant of the coalition weapons in the Al-Ashqari area of Serwah district in Marib province.
Dozens of civilians were killed or wounded as victims of the remnants of the war coalition in a number of provinces during February.
According to the Executive Center for Mine Action, the coalition’s war remnants killed or injured 30 civilians last January, including 14 children.
Yemen is witnessing a significant increase in the number of victims of the war remnants, in light of the coalition countries’ prevention of the entry of detectors and the United Nations’ failure to implement its obligations in this regard.
