Gold prices drop in Sanaa, rises dramatically in Aden

SANAA, Feb. 07 (YPA) – Gold prices rose on Tuesday in the provinces under the control of the Saudi-led coalition forces.
Sources working in goldsmiths’ markets said that the price of a gold pound reached 545,000 riyals in the city of Aden.
Meanwhile, the gold prices recorded a decrease in the areas under the control of the National Salvation Government in Sanaa, where the price of a gold pound reached 239,000 riyals.
The last update of gold prices in the goldsmith shops in the capital, Sanaa, is as follows:
– One gram of 24-karat gold costs 31,000 Yemeni Riyal (YER) to buy and 33,000 YER to sell.
– One gram of 21-karat gold costs 28,500 YER to buy and 30,000 YER to sell.
– One gold pound costs 229,000 YER to buy and 232,500 YER to sell.
The updated gold prices in the goldsmith shops in Aden are as follows:
– One gram of 24-karat gold costs 74,000 Yemeni Riyal (YER) to buy and 80,000 YER to sell.
– One gram of 21-karat gold costs 67,000 YER to buy and 73,000 YER to sell.
– One gold pound costs 535,000 YER to buy and 550,000 YER to sell.
