7 Palestinian resistance fighters killed during Israeli military operation in Jericho

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Feb. 06 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces assassinated seven Palestinian resistance fighters during the military operation in Jericho, which targeted a cell that carried out an operation south of Jericho on January 28, Zionist media reported on Monday  morning,

The Israeli occupation army claimed to assassinate a group of resistance fighters consisting of 7 individuals during a military operation carried out by the occupation army, at dawn today, in Aqbat Jabr camp near Jericho.

The occupation Army Radio reported that violent clashes broke out between the occupation army forces and resistance fighters in Aqbat Jabr in Jericho during a joint operation between the army and the Shin Bet.

Palestinian reported that 5 youths were killed and 2 others were injured during the clashes.

Local press sources from Jericho said: “What happened in Jericho was through two operations: the first in Aqbat Jabr camp, which were regular night confrontations and arrests… It turned out that on the outskirts of the camp in an isolated area, another operation was carried out, and a group of resistance fighters were liquidated and arrested.”
