Meteorology expects continuing cold weather across Yemen provinces

SANAA, Jan.28 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center expected on Saturday continuing cold weather to hit several Yemen provinces.

In its weather bulletin, the center indicated that the cold weather will be in Dhamar, Amran, Sanaa, Bayda, Saada, Dhalea Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, Marib and Jawf.

It also expected sporadic rains on parts of the southern and eastern coasts, while active to very fast winds blow on the south of the western coast and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, with a maximum speed of 35 knots.

It center warned citizens and farmers in cold provinces mentioned above to take the necessary precautions from cold weather.
