Mosque’s imam flees assassination attempt in Aden

ADEN, Jan. 23 (YPA) – A Mosque imam survived on Sunday an assassination attempt in the city of Aden, which is under the control of the coalition militia.

Local sources in the city reported that unidentified gunmen, believed to belong to the Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia targeted a house in front of Al al-Bayt Mosque, the imam, Jalal bin Nasser, with a hand grenade in Khor Maksar area.

The sources pointed out that the bomb exploded while he was passing near his house in one of the neighborhoods of the Khor Maksar region, miraculously escaping from the assassination.
