North Korea fires 3 ballistic missiles toward East Sea

WORLD, Dec. 31 (YPA) – North Korea fired three short-range ballistic missiles towards the East Sea on Saturday morning, South Korea’s military said in a statement,

“South Korean military detected the launch of the missiles from Chunghwa County in North Hwanghae Province at around 8 a.m. The missiles flew about 350 kilometers before falling into the East Sea,” Yonhap news agency reported, citing South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff.
The agency gave no further details, saying intelligence authorities in South Korea and the United States were conducting a detailed analysis of the missiles’ characteristics.
