US implements aggressive plots to obstruct any peace steps in Yemen: Official

SANAA, Dec. 17 (YPA) – The United States of America is trying to shuffle the cards in the Yemeni file to implement more aggressive plots and obstruct any peace steps, Ali al-Qahoum, a member of the political bureau of Ansarullah, said on Saturday.

He said, “The Americans are carrying out dangerous tasks in Yemen, playing cards, and preparing more conspiracies with British engineering.”

Al-Qahoum added that the Americans and the British have insisted on the continuation of the aggression and the blockade, and they are the ones obstructing all peace steps.

The US military presence in Bab al-Mandab Strait and off the Yemeni coast constitutes a danger to Yemen and to maritime navigation, and proves the aggressive behavior of America and its conspiracy against the country, according to a statement to Al-Mayadeen TV.

During the last period, the United States of America has escalated its aggressive moves off the Yemeni coast and in Bab al-Mandab significantly.

America and the Zionist entity, at the behest of the Gulf oil states, pushed the Egyptian forces to the forefront of military operations in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, all the way to the Gulf of Aden, which is under the sovereignty of the Republic of Yemen, to lead the so-called “Joint Missions 153”, in the Red Sea, under flimsy pretexts.
