Culture director arrested in Aden

ADEN, Dec. 05 (YPA) – Aden governor, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, appointed by the coalition-backed government in Aden, suspended a director general of the province’s culture office, Randa Akbour, from her job.

The decision came after a video clip circulated showing that Akbour pulled down the flag of separation after being risen by a person during a ceremony held yesterday in Aden the occasion of the Evacuation Day, November 30.

Akbour confirmed on Facebook that Lamlas informed her of the decision to suspend her from work.
