On Wednesday, the country’s Supreme Court upheld the death sentences issued against the four men for committing “the crime of cooperation with the intelligence service of the Israeli regime and the crime of kidnapping.”

The semi-official “Mehr” news agency stated that three others were sentenced to prison terms ranging from 5 to 10 years after being convicted of crimes including conspiracy against the national security, aiding in kidnapping, and illegal possession of weapons.
