STC: The end of first military region’s forces in Hadramout has come

HADRAMOUT, Nov. 19 (YPA) –  Mohammed Abdul Malik al-Zubaidi, the head of the Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s Commission in Hadramout Valley, confirmed that preparations are underway to get rid of the “First Military Region’s forces.

Al-Zubaidi said in press statements circulated by pro-STC media that the preparations are being made by the STC in cooperation with the so-called “Hadrami forces”, which have shown their full readiness to move in the zero hour, to surprise the enemy, pounce on him and paralyze its forces.

He threatened Islah militants in Wadi Hadramawt, saying: “The end of the first military region forces has come, and for this moment we mix night with day to drive them out from Hardmaout .”

The deadline announced by the UAE-backed militias for  Islah militants to withdraw from Wadi Hadramawt in mid-November has expired  amid Saudi trends to end the role of the “STC” in Aden and hand it over to the forces of “Tariq Afash” in exchange for handing over the city of Marib, which is under the control of Islah, to the forces affiliated with the UAE led by Saghir bin Aziz.

The UAE has limited the STC’s activity in Shabwa and Hadramout oil by appointing governors from the General People’s Congress since the beginning of this year.
