Saudi Crown Prince’s visit to India, Pakistan postponed

WORLD, Nov. 13 (YPA) – Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) has postponed a planned visit to India and Pakistan over scheduling issues, according to media reports.

According to Indian English-language daily newspaper ” the Hindu”, While the visit was not officially announced, it has been under planning for several weeks.

Indian officials confirmed the postponement of the visit, noting that MBS is expected to meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bali, Indonesia, during their participation in the G20 summit on November 15 and 16.

The officials said MBS and the Indian prime minister would agree to set a new date for bin Salman’s visit to New Delhi in the near future.

During his visit to India, MBS was scheduled to discuss cooperation in energy, oil trade, investment in renewable energy projects, as well as other areas related to Saudi Arabia’s investment in infrastructure.
