About 65 tons of expired foodstuffs confiscated in Sanaa

SANAA, Nov. 10 (YPA) – About 65 tons of expired foodstuffs were seized on Thursday in Sanaa violation of approved specifications and standards.

Director of Public Health Office, Dr. Mutahar Al-Marouni, explained that ten restaurants, cafeterias, and a honey production factory were also closed, in violation of health requirements, and 180 food establishments were notified of violations.

He added that legal measures would continue to be taken against violators.
