Confrontations between pro-coalition factions, tribes renewed in Marib

MARIB, Nov. 09 (YPA) – Violent confrontations between the forces of the so-called Presidential Guards and the militants of the Al-Damashaqa tribes have renewed in the Al-Arkian are in Marib governorate.

Tribal sources said the confrontations were renewed on Tuesday evening, despite the existence of a truce agreement between the two parties.

Sources have revealed that Islah leaders are fueling the conflict in an attempt to drain the presidential guard forces led by Bin Ma’eli, which are believed to an extension of Emirati and Afashi influence.

The same pointed out that the Islah Party is also trying through directives to reduce the tribes opposing their presence   and that the leader of the Islah Party, Ali bin Hassan bin Gharib, worked to pit the tribes of Al-Damashaqa against the forces of Bin Ma’eli under the pretext that he had set up a camp on the territory of the tribe.

Bin Gharib had offered Bin Ma’eli to support the Al-Kasara Front, but the latter refused.
