Chinese President directs army to prepare for military action

SANAA, Nov. 08 (YPA) – Chinese President, Xi Jinping, stressed on Tuesday the importance of strengthening the capabilities of the People’s Liberation Army and preparing for military action.

This came during his visit to inspect the Joint Operations Center of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China.

“It is necessary to strengthen the comprehensive training of the armed forces to ensure their readiness for combat operations,” China Central Television quoted Xi Jinping as saying.

He explained that the leadership of the People’s Liberation Army should promote innovation in the army, and form reliable mechanisms so that Chinese forces can participate in battles with high efficiency.
