New military reinforcements arrive at Aden city

ADEN, Nov. 03 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition pushed military forces to the city of Aden, which is controlled by the Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia.

Local sources in the city confirmed that a military battalion of the so-called “joint forces” affiliated with Tariq Afash, backed by the UAE, arrived in Aden from Al-Anad military base in Lahj.

The sources indicated that the reinforcements came under Saudi directives, after the “STC” militia prevented the entry of Afash forces from Ras Abbas camp, which Saudi Arabia established on the coastal road linking Aden to the city of Mocha, west of Taiz.

The STC, which opposes the presence of Afash’s forces in Aden, had imposed a state of emergency in the city, amid Saudi threats to target the STC if the forces affiliated with Afash were intercepted.

The sources pointed out that the city of Aden is witnessing abnormal movements in the Crater area and around the coalition camp in Al-Buraiqah to Bir Ahmed area.
