30 Palestinian detainees continue hunger strike against Zionist’s administrative detention for fourth day

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Sept. 28 (YPA) – Thirty Palestinian administrative detainees in Israeli occupation prisons are on an open-ended hunger strike for the fourth day in a row in protest against Zionist ’s policy of ‏administrative detention without a charge or trial.

The Palestinian Prisoners Club indicated that 28 hunger-striking prisoners are in “Ofer” prison, adding that the prison police gathered them in four rooms in one of the prison’s sections.

The Prisoners Club added that one prisoner is in the Naqab prison, and another is in “Hadarim” prison.

The hunger-striking prisoners also announced their boycott of Israeli occupation courts in protest of their arbitrary administrative detention.

The Club explained that this step comes as the Israeli occupation courts continue to exercise arbitrary administrative detention policy and implement the orders issued by the occupation intelligence service Shin Bet.

On the 25th of September, 30 Palestinian administrative detainees announced the launch of a mass hunger strike, rejecting their unjust administrative detention without a charge or trial by Israeli occupation authorities and demanding “fresh air, a sky without prison bars, a space of freedom, and a family dinner.”
