Coalition forces violate UN-brokered armistice 136 times within 24 hours

PROVINCES, Aug. 27 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries committed 136 violations of the UN-brokered humanitarian and military truce, during the past 24 hours.

A military source reported that the violations represented in the following:

The flight of hostile warplanes in the airspace of Jawf province, and 27 sorties of armed and spying reconnaissance aircraft in the airspace of the provinces of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Jawf, Saada, Hodeida, and Dhalea, and the border fronts.

A violation with air strikes by armed reconnaissance aircraft of the mercenaries on the homes of citizens and the sites of the army and the popular committees in Al-Jabaliya area of Al-Tuhita district in Hodeida.

A missile attack was launched by the coalition mercenaries on the house of the citizen Hisham Abdulsalam Abdulrahman in Al-Thakra area of Al-Alma village in Taiz province

A breach with an infiltration operation made by members of the mercenaries towards the sites of the army and the popular committees in Al-Barah area of Taiz.

The creation of fortifications in eastern Hays district of Hodeida and in Maqbna area in Taiz.

In addition to 86 violations by shooting at citizens’ homes and positions of the army and popular committees in the provinces of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea, and Hodeida and the border fronts.

The coalition mercenaries committed also 16 violations by artillery shelling on several areas in the provinces of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Hodeida, and Dhalea and the fronts beyond the border in Jizan.

It is noteworthy that the number of violations committed by the coalition forces since the beginning of the humanitarian and military truce in last April has amounted to 28,178 violations.
