Over 60 militants of Islah killed by Emirati airstrikes in Shabwa

SHABWA, Aug. 11 (YPA) – The Islah party, (the Yemeni branch of the Muslim Brotherhood) has admitted on Wednesday that dozens of its fighters have been killed by Emirati airstrikes in Shabwa province, southern Yemen.

Anis Mansour al-Subaihi, the Head of the Hana Aden Center for Studies,  said  in a tweet that more than 68 members of the Islah factions were killed when Emirati airstrikes hit special forces positions and the Ataq military axis.

Mansour confirmed that  there were civilians casualties, including women and children in the Emirati bombardment.

This statistic comes in light of the fierce battles that have been taking place in the city of Ataq between the Emirati factions and Islah militants, since three days until now.
