158 violations of UN-declared truce recorded in Yemen

SANAA, Aug. 11 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 158 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Wednesday, citing a military source.

According to the military source, the violations included 31 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz, Jawf, Hajjah, Dhalea, Saada, Hodeida and border fronts.

The source declared that the breaches included air strikes hit citizens’ homes and army’s sites in Al-Rawdha area of Marib, Al-Shurfah area of Najran, Al-Jabalia area of Tuhayta district and north of Hays district in Hodeida province.

The source affirmed that new combat fortifications were created in Al-Biqaa area of Najran, east of Mastour farm and west of Siraj farm in Al-Jabalia area of Tuhayta district in Hodeida.

The source pointed out that coalition’s mercenaries carried out an infiltration attempt at the army’s sites in north of Hays district in Hodeida province.

In addition, the source declared that 94 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Hodeida, Bayda, Dhalea, Saada and border fronts.

He also said that 21 violations by an artillery and missile shelling were recorded at the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi and Malaa areas of Marib, Saada, Hajjah, Hodeida and border fronts.

The source mentioned that an artillery bombing targeted the army’s sites in Bani Hassan and Haradh districts of Hajjah, Al-Madafin and Al-Malaheedh areas of Saada.

The source pointed out that the mercenaries also bombarded the army’s sites in Hays district of Hodeida, Al-Kmb Al-Qadim and Jabal Twailq of Jizan region, and a bombardment using mortal shells targeted the army’s sites in Maqbana area of Taiz.
