Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah calls for ending war on Yemen.

SANAA, Aug. 09 (YPA) – Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, renewed on Tuesday solidarity and standing with the Yemeni people, calling for an end to the war on Yemen.

During his speech made on the religious anniversary of the Day of Ashura in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, Sayyed Nasrallah said: “We renew our stand on the side of the besieged and struggling people in Yemen who have been fighting for years in defense of their dignity and homeland in the face of occupation, aggression, humiliation and arrogance.”

He described that what has been going on in Yemen for years as a great title for injustice, persecution and aggression against this people.

Nasrallah said, “The Yemeni people are defending their dignity, existence and homeland in the face of occupation, aggression, humiliation and arrogance.”

“The Yemenis fill the squares and do not miss the occasions of the nation, not on Quds Day, Ashura, the birth of the Prophet, or the victory of Palestine,” he added. They demonstrate for it at a time when most of the squares of the Arab and Islamic world are absent.”

He continued, “Despite all their pain, wounds, and grievances, this proud and striving people in Yemen is a true embodiment of fighting, steadfastness, ignoring grievance, martyrdom, patience, the victory of blood over the sword.”

“We believe that supporting them with words, money, and hands, and standing by their side, is one of the most important duties of all Muslims, the oppressed, the free and the honorable in this world,” Sayyed Nasrallah added.
