143 violations of UN-declared military, humanitarian truce recorded in Yemen

SANAA, Aug. 09 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 143 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Monday, citing a military source.

According to the military source, 38 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz, Hodeida, Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Bayda, Dhalea provinces and border fronts.

The source pointed out that three air strike of reconnaissance planes hit citizens’ homes and army’s sites in north of Hays district in Hodeida.

The mercenaries created four combat fortifications in Siraj and Saleh Mastor farms in Al-Jabalia area of Tuhayta district and in north of Hays district in Hodeida.

He also confirmed that 18 violations by an artillery shelling were recorded at the army’s sites in Al-Baq Al-Sharqi area of Marib, and in Hajjh, Saada, Hodeida and border fronts.

The source mentioned that two violations were recorded by missile bombardment at the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi of Marib and in north of Hays district in Hodeida.

The source pointed out that an artillery shelling targeted sites of the Yemeni army in Haradh and Bani Hassan areas of Hajjah, Hays district of Hodeida, and Al-Amood of Wadi Jara and Al-Baroukiah areas of Jizan border province.

In addition, the source declared that 78 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida, Bayda, Dhalea and border fronts.
