SANAA, Aug. 04 (YPA) – The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, discussed, in an emergency meeting, on Wednesday with representatives of international and local organizations the urgent interventions to help the affected areas due to heavy rainfall.

Al-Hamli called for an urgent implementation of interventions to deal with flood-damaged in Jawf and Hajjah provinces, which resulted in the demolition of dozens of houses and the dredging of agricultural land.

Organizations and humanitarian partners should play their role in providing  assistance to  the affected families with tents, shelter bags and urgent food baskets, he stressed.
