Coalition commits 9,917 violations of armistice in Yemen in 88 days

PROVINCES, Jun. 30 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces continued to violate the UN-brokered humanitarian and military truce in Yemen the 88th consecutive day, with 9,917 violations.

A military source in Sanaa confirmed on Thursday that during the past 24 hours, the coalition forces committed 146 violations, including 6 sorties of hostile warplanes in the airspace of Al-Beqaa Valley, Shabaka, Al-Omda, Al-Souh, Al-Shorfa and Al-Far`a areas in Najran region, and 62 sorties of spy planes in the airspace of the provinces, of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Jawf, Saada, Dhalea, and Bayda and the border fronts.

He noted that 4 violations of the coalition forces were monitored with air strikes by armed reconnaissance aircraft on the homes of citizens and the positions of the army and the popular committees in Al-Barh area in Taiz, and the creation of fortifications in the vicinity of Marib city and in the east of Tabbat Al-Shubel in Al-Tina area in Hajjah.

The source pointed out that 56 violations by shooting at the homes of citizens and the positions of the army and the popular committees were recorded in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea, and Bayda and the border fronts, as well as 18 violations of artillery shelling on Marib, Hajjah, Saada and the border fronts.
