Civilian injured in cluster bomb explosion in Saada

SAADA, Jun. 25 (YPA) – A civilian was injured on Saturday when a cluster bomb left behind by Saudi-led coalition exploded in Saada province, northern Yemen.

A security source said that the citizen was injured while passing through Ghafrah area in Al-Dhaher district, and he was subsequently taken to the hospital.

On Friday, a civilian was seriously injured by the explosion of a mine left over from the coalition weapons in Al-Hawk district of Hodeida province, western Yemen, less than 24 hours after another citizen was injured by a mine explosion in Al-Hali district in the same province.

This comes in light of the refusal of the coalition to allow the entry of the necessary equipment to cleanse the affected areas.
