Iran stops cargo ship carrying smuggled “cold weapons” coming from Arab country

TEHRAN, Jun. 18 (YPA) – Commander of the border guards in Bushehr province in southern Iran, Yadullah Sharafi, on Saturday announced the arrest of a cargo ship carrying a quantity of smuggled cold weapons in the port of Gnaoua.

A cargo ship carrying smuggled and prohibited goods coming from an Arab country was arrested in the port of Gnaoua, Yadullah Sharafi in a statement to “Fars” Agency.

Sharafi continued, “In coordination with the judicial authority and an inspection of the confiscated ship, 3,600 types of cold weapons were discovered, including daggers and various types of knives,” confirming the arrest of 7 people involved in the smuggling operation.
