Parliament condemns continued violations of UN-declared armistice by coalition

SANAA, May 24 (YPA) – The Parliament condemned on Tuesday the continued violations of UN-declared truce by the US-Saudi-Emirati coalition, the latest of which was the flight of a spy plane in the airspace of the capital, Sanaa, on Monday.

In its session Tuesday, the House members praised capabilities of the Yemeni missile forces and air defenses, which managed to shoot down an armed spy plane belonging to the Saudi Air Force, while was carrying out hostile acts in the airspace of the capital, Sanaa, last night.

The Parliament members urged everyone to be vigilant and wary of the conspiratorial schemes of the coalition through its repeated violations of the armistice and its reluctance to implement the terms of the armistice.

They called on the Security Council, the United Nations, the international community and the free people of the world to bear the humanitarian and moral responsibility towards “the arrogance and intransigence of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition countries and their tools,” and their disavowal of implementing the terms of the truce.
