Turkey announces starting normalization with Israeli entity

SANAA, May 24 (YPA) – Turkey’s foreign ministry officially announced on Tuesday the beginning of the normalization with Israeli entity.

This came during a two-day visit made by the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu to the Palestinian territories and Tel Aviv. The visit is the first by a senior Turkish official in more than 10 years.

On Tuesday, the Turkish Minister arrived in the city of Ramallah, in the central West Bank and met with his Palestinian counterpart, ” Riyad al-Maliki”, at the headquarters of the Palestinian Foreign Ministry.

The Israeli and Turkey are seeking to mend their long-strained relations, of which the potential cooperation in the energy field.
