Southern leader reveals biggest corruption by Maeen’s gov’t in Aden

ADEN, May 19 (YPA) – A leader in the Southern Resistance revealed on Thursday the biggest corruption exerted by Maeen Abdul Malik’s government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in the city of Aden.

The leader, Adel Al-Hassani, said on Twitter:”Maeen’s wealth is approximately estimated at two billion dollars, and he is linked to suspicious relations and illegal transactions.”

Al-Hasani, who resides in Turkey, added that “Maeen Abdul-Malik bought a villa in Paris worth 9.6 million euros, and another in Cairo for more than 8 million dollars, as well as a villa in Dubai worth over 5.5 million dollars, and real estate and companies distributed between the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, adding that his son owns an account in a Jordanian bank estimated at $13 million.

He affirmed confirmed that 2 million Saudi riyals go to Abdul-Malik’s account per month, of which one million riyals being entrusted from the Ministry of Finance to the Cabinet Office, and 3 million riyals being given by the Emirates and Saudi Arabia to him.

Al-Hasani explained that the head of the government entered the local currency speculation market from the central bank account in Aden, to acquire 15 billion Yemeni riyals, in addition to obtaining a settlement estimated at 10 million dollars from Sabafon Company.
