Pro-coalition commander survives assassination attempt in Aden

ADEN, May 15 (YPA) – A high-ranking military commander loyal to the Saudi-led coalition forces survived on Sunday an assassination attempt in the city of Aden, southern Yemen.

Local sources said that a car bomb exploded this afternoon, while the convoy of chief of the main joint operations of the Fourth Military Region, Brigadier General Saleh Ali Hassan, was passing on the main street in Al-Mualla in Aden.

Hassan miraculously survived the explosion, while a number of his companions were wounded, according to the sources.
