Meteorology renews its call to citizens to stay away from water ways

SANAA, April 28 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology renewed its call on citizens to take the necessary precautions and to stay away from water ways during the next 24 hours.

In its warning bulletin, the center expected thunderstorms of varying intensity on the mountainous heights from Saada in the north to Lahj in the south.

The center indicated that rains would extend eastward to parts of the deserts of Saada, Jawf, Marib, Shabwa, Hadramout and Socotra.

It cautioned motorists to take precautions against low horizontal visibility due to low clouds and heavy rain.
