Islah militants continue to violate ceasefire initiative

MARIB, March 30 (YPA) – Saudi-backed Islah militants have continued to violate ceasefire initiative launched by Sanaa in conjunction with Saudi Arabia’s announcement to halt military operations in Yemen.

The Islah militia targeted a number of military sites belonging to the Sanaa forces south of the city of Marib, which suggested that no initiative would be steadfast to peace in Yemen.

Local sources in Marib that the coalition forces launched a large-scale military attack towards the positions of the Sanaa forces in Ramlah area of Wadi Abaidah, south of the city.

After violent battles between the two sides, the Sanaa forces were able to confront the attack of the coalition recruits, forcing them to retreat to their positions without achieving any field achievements.
