SANAA, March 09 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected a wave of dust sweeping the coastal plains and desert areas within the next 24 hours.
The center indicated, in its weather bulletin on Wednesday that the desert areas would be clear and dry, and the southeast winds to be active, with raising dust.
He pointed to the coastal areas where the weather might be clear to partly cloudy, and the winds to be southwesterly active on the western coast and the interior areas of the Tihama Plain, with wind reaching its speed to 30 knots.
According to the center, the weather in the Socotra archipelago would be clean to partly cloudy, with moderate northeasterly winds.
It warned citizens, especially the elderly and children, in the mountainous heights of cold weather, as well as citizens in the coastal plains and desert areas of dust wave.
