Hadramout tribes call on Islah Party to release detainees

HADRAMOUT, Jan. 25 (YPA) – Hadramout tribes called on Saudi-backed Islah Party to release several detainees in Islah prisons in the province.

In a tribal consultative meeting held by the province’s tribes gave the Islah militants 24 hours to release the leaders and affiliates of the Hadrami uprising, including Sheikh “Saleh bin Al-Haraizi.”

The meeting, which was chaired by Sheikh “Madrak Salama bin Humaid Al-Jaidi”, vowed to continue the peaceful escalation in the city of Mukalla and all cities of the province after the deadline.

Al-Islah militants had arrested Sheikh Al-Haraizi and a number of leaders of the Hadrami uprising last Sunday, after he mobilized the tribes within the escalating steps aimed at stopping the looting of Hadramout oil wealth.
