Military force loyal to Islah detains head of STC in Shabwa

SHABWA, Jan. 01 (YPA) – A military checkpoint belongs to the special forces loyal to Islah detained on Saturday head of branch of UAE-backed southern transitional council (STC) in Shabwa province, east of Yemen.

Local sources declared that the military force detained the head Ali Al-Jabwani in Ayin Bamabad area of Rodhwm district, while he was on his way to Ataq city.

The sources pointed out that special forces militants allowed the convoy to pass after receiving instructions from the UAE leadership in Belhaf.
