One person killed, 3 wounded in bomb blast in Dhalea

DHALEA, Dec. 07 (YPA) – At least one person was killed and three others were injured, including recruits, on Tuesday when a bomb attack targeted a military vehicle of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia in Dhalea province, southern Yemen.

Eyewitnesses reported that an explosive device exploded in a patrol of Qa’taba city police while it was passing on the main street near Hizam Abdullah School, in the city.

The explosion occurred in the middle of the popular Qa’taba market, killing a 45-year-old person named Rashad Al-Sharabi and wounding three others, according to the eyewitnesses.

No party has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
