Pro-coalition commander injured in assassination attempt in Taiz

TAIZ, Dec. 02 (YPA) – A Pro-coalition military commander in 35 brigade was injured seriously on Thursday in an assassination attempt in south of Taiz province.

Eyewitnesses indicated that an explosive device exploded in the car of the commander Abdual-Bassit al-Qadhi in al-Shaaoba area of al-Maafir district which led to the amputation of his feet.

The car of the commander exploded during his return from his work headquarter in the middle of al-Maafir market, amidst reports of injuries among civilians, passers-by, without mentioning the implementing agency.
