NCM expects cold wave within coming 24 hours

SANAA, Nov. 21 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected a cold wave would hit several Yemeni provinces during the next 24 hours.

In its weather bulletin, the center affirmed that the cold weather would focus the provinces of Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran and Saada, Abyan, Lahj, Ibb, Dhalea and Jawf.

It pointed out that the weather in the coastal areas might be generally clear to partly cloudy, with active winds on the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.

While the weather of the Socotra archipelago will be partly cloudy, with the possibility of scattered light rain.

The center warned the elderly, children and farmers, of cold weather, in the aforementioned provinces.
