STC reveals party that stands behind Tawahi explosion in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 10 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) revealed the party that stands behind the attack that targeted senior leaders with a car bomb in the city of Aden, southern Yemen, on Sunday.

A spokesman for the STC militia, Mohammad al-Naqeeb, said in tweets on Twitter, ”Five months ago, prominent leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood (Islah Party) brought internationally-wanted terrorist elements to the city of Aden, through the port of Qena in Shabwa province.”

Al-Naqeeb added that among those terrorist leaders were: “Miloud Saleh Al-Tunisi, nicknamed Abu Ahmed Al-Tunisi, and Saif Al-Irshad Al-Afghani,”, noting that they were brought to Aden, using the methods of camouflage by women’s clothing.

The STC militia imposed a military cordon around the site of the explosion that targeted Governor Ahmed Lamlas and the Minister of Agriculture in the “Hadi government”, with a car bomb near the intersection of “Hajeef Tour” in the Tawahi area, which left dead and wounded.

In search of those involved in the explosion, the STC militia launched a campaign of arbitrary arrests, targeting dozens of citizens in the area.
